Sarver, Pennsylvania native, Toni Lynn Antonucci, MSW, LSW,(b. 1970) resides in Hempfield Township after life as a Navy wife and mother took her across the country and back.
Toni has been making unbridled art since she could hold a crayon. From scribbling on walls with crayons to painting elaborate wall murals in every new home; no matter where life took her, Toni could count on her paint and brushes as the one constant in life.
Toni is a psychotherapist and artist. She finds inspiration from Carl Jung, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Vincent van Gough. She expresses her emotions, social, and philosophical views in her art. Each painting is a reflection of this cathartic release of emotion.
Toni paints using oils, acrylics, and mixed media. She is a self-taught artist who graduated from Seton Hill University with a BSW and The University of Pittsburgh with an MSW. In 2016 she began showing her work at the urging of her late son and fellow artist, Demetre Josebeck. Following Demetre’s death in 2018, Toni began using art as a mechanism to heal from the loss of her 26 year old son.
Outside of making art, Toni is passionate about her family, empowering others, and social advocacy.
Toni lives with her long time partner, Tom, and their English Cocker Spaniel, Parker. She enjoys spending time with her two older sons, her daughters-in- law, and 3 grandchildren. For Toni, family is everything. She longs for the days gone by with sheets drying on the clothesline and her children gathered around the dinner table. But time stops for no-one and nightly dinners have turned into group text messages, weekly visits, and holiday family gatherings.
